UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO SAFETY ABROAD
If you are travelling on University of Toronto sanctioned activities abroad, you must complete all four required online Safety Abroad modules prior to your international experience. Before starting the modules, please review the Global Affairs Canada Country Travel Advisory External link to familiarize yourself with your destination. You should also register with the Safety Abroad Registry External link as early as possible, ideally 4-6 weeks before departure.

Notice: The University of Toronto will be closed for the Winter break from 5PM EST December 23 2025 to 9AM EST January 5 2026. If you experience any issues with the Safety Abroad Workshop, please report them to safety.abroad@utoronto.ca and we will respond after the University reopens. Please also ensure any upcoming university-related travel outside of Canada has been submitted to the Safety Abroad Registry, in case of an emergency over the break.
